A former farm on the Chaalis estate, the Maison de Chaalis enjoys a unique setting, combining rich history and natural beauty. Within the estate, you'll discover the former royal abbey of Chaalis, founded in the 12th century, and the Jacquemart-André Museum, housed in an elegant 18th-century château, which presents the collection of artwork, furniture, and rare objects assembled by collector Nélie Jacquemart.
The estate is surrounded by the Ermenonville Forest, a vast wooded area ideal for walking, observing nature, and relaxing. This lush and serene setting makes the Maison de Chaalis a privileged place, ideal for recharging one's batteries, creating, or simply enjoying the rich local heritage.
